Serving the Community Since 1906
Community service since 1906 . . .
March 6, 2018 marked the 112th anniversary of the founding of the Hemet Woman’s Club! Celebrating the women whose foresight envisioned a community library and dedicated their efforts to insure its success. Today we carry on that tradition. The legacy handed down from the original group of 10 women has, through the years, fostered the club’s motto of ‘Living the Volunteer Spirit’ as it continues to provide a commitment to community service.

Message from thePresident
Greetings to you from the Hemet Woman's Club.
I am Susan Guarino, and it is my privilege to serve as President of the Hemet Woman's Club (HWC) during the 2020-2022 meeting term. The Hemet Woman's Club has a long history of community service in the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley, and we will strive to continue in that service.
After I retired from Mt. San Jacinto College, I found myself in need of fellowship with other women as well as the fulfillment that comes with giving of one's time and efforts to good causes. The HWC fills me with that sense of purpose and the enjoyment of good friends. Our many projects span across the valley, from serving the youngest in the community via projects like supporting Calicinto Ranch - to serving our elders with Santa For A senior - and everything in between. A woman can find a niche for her talents within the variety of projects we support, as well as bring friends to work with.
In this difficult pandemic situation, the mission of the HWC will face special challenges as we find new ways to raise funds and to enjoy fellowship. I hope and pledge that as we learn together, labor together, brainstorm together, and laugh together - the HWC will continue our long history of positive impact on our communities, our neighbors, and ourselves. I welcome you to come find out about us and consider joining the Hemet Woman's Club!
